Dan Edelman Joins the Board of Directors for the UF Health Proton Therapy Institute
Heritage Capital Group ("HCG") is pleased to announce Dan Edelman has joined the Board of Directors of the UF Health Proton Therapy Institute in Jacksonville ("UFHPTI").
UFHPTI is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization affiliated with the UF College of Medicine and the UF Health Cancer Center, a Florida Cancer Center of Excellence, dedicated to delivering state-of-the-art cancer treatment and setting new standards for treating and curing cancer. It is an accredited radiation oncology facility by the American College of Radiology. The cancer treatment facility houses both conventional radiation and proton therapy.
Dan is a Principal at HCG, an investment banking and financial advisory firm. His primary focus is advising clients on mergers and acquisition transactions as well as strategic planning.
Dan has more than 40 years of public accounting experience. In addition to being a CPA, he is certified in business valuations and financial forensics. Dan has been involved in over 300 business valuation and litigation matters as well as over 100 merger and acquisition transactions. He has also served on the board of directors of two publicly traded companies.

Dan has served on the boards of the Jacksonville Civic Council, KIPP Jacksonville Schools, Hope Haven Children's & Family Clinic, The Jacksonville Public Library Board Foundation, University of North Florida Foundation, Baptist Hospital Foundation, and the Cummer Museum.
