Heritage Capital Group Announces the Sale of AIX Restaurants, Inc. to Bistro AIX, LLC.
Heritage Capital Group is pleased to announce the successful sale of AIX Restaurants to Bistro AIX, LLC.
AIX Restaurants, which owned the award-winning San Marco eatery Bistro Aix was acquired by Bistro AIX, LLC, a partnership of the owners of Ovinté restaurant in the St. John’s Town Center. Bistro AIX opened in 1999, and was owned and operated by Terry Schneider, Mike Schneider and Ann Riley. The Bistro AIX owners, in a joint statement, said they reached a point in their lives where they saw the need to put into place a succession plan to ensure the continued success of the restaurant.
"The partners plan to continue operations as normal at Bistro AIX with some exciting additions that include updated and expanded menus with exciting new lunch options and a raw seafood bar," Fraser Burns, an investing partner in Ovinté, said in a statement.
Heritage Capital Group, an investment banking firm headquartered in Jacksonville, provided strategic advisory services to AIX Restaurants which included valuation advisory and negotiation. Mac Holley, a principal with Heritage Capital Group advised on the transaction.
